I read and loved the Bronze trilogy, afterwards I was looking for something similar and I found The Tea Rose. You should look for it. The characters are amazing , everyting about the book is so so good. I truly hope that you get a chance to read them. There are three books, all of them are amazing. The author is jennifer donnelli.

The Tea Rose is also a trilogy. The second and third books are the Winter Rose and the Wild Rose. I read the first one recently and am working on the second one. I haven’t read the Bronze Horseman Trilogy yet, but I keep seeing recommendations of it for Outlander fans. I think I will read it after finishing the Tea Rose Trilogy, in time for the second and third books to be released on audio; the first one is out now and the others come out on March 21st.

I’m stuck on The Summer Garden! I’m 31% done and have paused to read some other books. The first book was Excellent, the second (as is typical in a trilogy) was sort of a bridge book, and I’m finding the 3rd to be a little slow. Help!
Aestas says
The first 2 books go together. The second isn’t really intended as a bridge at all, rather it’s actually a completion of the story from book 1. The first 2 books cover one single intense period of their lives over about 7 years. The third book is almost separate. The pacing and storytelling style is completely different. It covers the entire rest of their lives together from their reunion up until very old age so it’s just genuinely different. But I highly recommend completing it. It’s beautiful and brings their story full circle in the most complete way imaginable.

Hi Aestas
I stumbled upon the romance genre about six months ago, then stumbled onto your blog… now your blog page never gets closed 🙂 This series may be my new favorite too. I foresee this being my new go-to for biannual re-reads. I’m already missing the characters. Quality story telling for sure.
