  3. I agree with the the majority of this list, however I’m not 100% sold on Kristen Ashley. Where her books are very entertaining and always have a great plot there always seem to be something missing for me. Hands down my FAV is the Thoughtless series S.C. Stephens, then…. Beautiful Disaster, Seduction and Snacks, Fifty Shades…, On Dublin Street, Wallbanger, Hopeless, Lux series (worst cliffhanger EVER), Covenant series. Anything by Jillian Dodd, Jennifer L. Aremont, or S.C Stephens. Love love love this blog and all the reviews!

  4. My favs in particular order are:
‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Trilogy by EL James
‘Slammed’ and ‘Point of Retreat’ by Colleen Hoover
    ‘Beautiful Disaster’ by Jamie McGuire
    ‘Easy’ by Tammara Webber
‘Lengths’ by Liz Reinhardt and Steph Campbell
    ‘Flat-Out Love’ by Jessica Park

‘When we Collide’ by A.L. Jackson
‘The Sea of Tranquility’ by Katja Millay
‘White Trash Beautiful’ by Teresa Mummert
‘The Edge of Never’ by J.A. Redmerski (this may be my #1 pick)

I just started reading for pleasure/enjoyment this past July after a dear friend of mine introduced me to the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ trilogy. Little did I know at the time she was gifting me something that was missing in my life and I didn’t even realize it. I read every night and any other chance I get each day. I love to read, it is the one thing I can do that is just for me, although I’m pretty sure my husband reaps some of the benefits too, considering the type of books I read 🙂 Since July I have read 50 books! I’ve read so many great books, but those listed above are my top favs. I have a ton more still to read on my TBR list and I’m getting ready to add more to it from your favs list. Thanks for sharing!
    Happy Reading 🙂

  5. “Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”
― John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

The above quote by John Green sums up how I feel about The Bronze Horseman trilogy, which definitely tops my list. I read them upon seeing your 10* reviews. I didn’t read them until after I finished reading the books though so as not to see spoilers 🙂

My other top books I’ve read in 2012 are as follows: (many of them in your list too!)
    Flat-out Love by Jessica Park
The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay

    Thoughtless/Effortless by S.C. Stephens

  28. I LOVE the list! Every book I have read this year has come from your blog! I got started with the Fifty Shades book and it went from there. I loved all of the books that you recommened, but if I had to only pick one I would have to say with out a doubt it would be “Forbidden”. I know, I know. It tore me up so much emotionally, and I just wanted to crawl out of myself after reading that, but it was such a great book, and it stayed with me since reading it. I have never felt so strongly about a book, and I’ve read hundreds. I can’t thank you enough for recommending that book! NOW, if I had to pick a good love story book, then I would say my favorite of the year was…ANYTHING written by R.L. Mathewson! I love her books! Just love them! She is really a great author and I can read anything that she writes! OH! And I cannot forget to mention “Gabriel’s Inferno” and “Gabriel’s Rapture” by Sylvain Reynard.
