FEATURE FAVORITE & ANNOUNCEMENT: Full Tilt by Emma Scott (Read my Review)
Full Tilt was one of my favorite books this year, and the sequel All In was just announced!! The first book can be read as a standalone, but trust me you’ll be wanting the next book once you’re done! My gosh, those FEELS were epic! Honestly, I thought I was handling my emotions pretty well for most of the first book, but then this one sentence just did me right in and the TEARS started flowing. The writing was captivating, the romance was heart-breakingly, achingly beautiful, and I absolutely LOVED the story! It’s wonderful to find books that deliver this kind of raw, emotional intensity. It’s an unconventional love story and I’d especially recommended it for fans of Me Before You. It has ALL THE FEELS!! If you’ve already read Full Tilt, be sure to pre-order All In!!
BOOKWORM NEWS:
- My Lucky Days by SD Hendrickson was just announced!! This is a new standalone second chance romance novel by the author of two of my other top favorite standalones: The Mason List (review) and Waiting For Wyatt (review). — “He was an up-and-coming country singer. She was the last girl you’d ever see in a bar. But one night, under those neon lights, they found each other. … Beginnings are always exciting. Always fun. Always hopeful. She was in her last year of college. He was still playing local stages. She fell for his voice. She fell for his words. They fell in love. It was beautiful. But time changed their world. She was alone. He was on the road. Life happened. And that love was torn apart. Endings are always painful. Always heart wrenching. But not always final. One day, he came back to her. And this is their story.”
- Fire In You by Jennifer L Armentrout was just announced!! — “Her whole world was destroyed in a span of a few hours. The same night her childhood love, Brock ‘the Beast’ Mitchell, broke her heart, her life was irrevocably altered by the hand of a stranger with a gun. It takes six years to slowly glue together the shattered pieces of her life, but she is finally ready to stop existing in a past full of pain and regret… She never expected him to be a part of her life again. But he’s firmly back in her life, and not only is he older, he’s impossibly more handsome, more teasing… And when he sees her, he’s no longer capable of thinking of her as the little girl who was his shadow growing up. He sees the woman who’d always been there for him, the one person who believed in him no matter what…”
- Sweet Dreams by Nina Lane was just announced! This is a sexy new standalone romance by the author of the beautiful and intensely passionate Spiral of Bliss series (my review)! —“Sugar Rush Candy Company CEO Luke Stone is a devoted businessman who doesn’t do relationships. He does short-term affairs with clearly defined rules. Polly Lockhart is horrified when she wakes the morning after her twenty-third birthday to realize she made a fool of herself with a sinfully delicious man. She tells herself she doesn’t have time for romance anyway, as she’s fighting to finish her culinary studies. That all changes when her class tours the famed Sugar Rush headquarters, and Polly collides with her dream man again.”
- Beard Science by Penny Reid was just announced!! This is a standalone romantic comedy in the Winston Brothers series! — She wants one thing, and that one thing is NOT to be Tennessee’s reigning Banana Cake Queen. She is officially desperate. And desperate times call for Cletus Winston…
- Get In The Car, Jupiter by Fisher Amelie was just announced! — “I’m weird. This isn’t news to me or anything. I have lived in a UFO my entire life. This wasn’t a coincidence. My parents believe in extraterrestrial life. So it wasn’t a surprise, when after getting accepted to UW and expressing my desire to actually attend, they lamented that college is “just another ploy for the government to keep tabs on you, man.” In other words, we won’t be helping you out. That’s fine, though, because we found a way up there and it was in the form of a longtime crush and a kickin’ set of wheels. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”
- Wilder by Rebecca Yarros was recently announced!! This is a standalone sports romance from a favorite author! — He’s Paxton Wilder. Twenty-two-year-old, tattooed, smoking-hot leader of the Renegades. Five time X Games medalist. The world is his playground—especially this year—and for the next nine months I’m stuck as his tutor on the Study at Sea program. He’s too busy staging worldwide stunts for his documentary to get to class. But if I can’t get him to take academics seriously, I’ll lose my scholarship…if I don’t lose my heart first…
- Blush For Me by Kristen Proby was just announced! This is a standalone in the Fusion series and there are already 2 other standalones available: Listen To Me and Close To You! —She isn’t afraid of anything. Well, almost anything: she hates to fly.
