QUICK RECAP OF SALES, NEW RELEASES & MORE

The last day or so has been crazy with new releases, sales & new recommendations etc and I just decided to do a quick recap post with a bunch of them. So there’s a whole fun mix of books here to look through!

• NEW RELEASE — The Edge of Always (The Edge of Never #2) by J.A. Redmerski. This book recaptured that special “feeling” that the first book (The Edge of Never) had and really brought Andrew and Camryn’s story full circle. I think fans of book #1 will be very happy! Read my Review.

• NEW RELEASE — Jagged by Kristen Ashley. This is book #5 in the Colorado Mountain series. Each book in the series is a standalone and I love them all! Kristen Ashley is one of my MOST favorite must-read authors of Alpha male romance!! Release date is Nov 5th! Here’s the full series reading order: #1 The Gamble #2 Sweet Dreams, #3 Lady Luck, #4 Breathe, #5 Jagged, #6 Kaleidoscope. And here are my reviews of: The Gamble, Sweet Dreams,  Lady Luck, Breathe.

• NEW RELEASE — Four Seconds To Lose by KA Tucker. Engaging. Sexy. Addictive. This was a phenomenal addition to the Ten Tiny Breaths series but it can also be read as a standalone. Read my Review.

• NEW RELEASE — If Only (Masters of the Shadowlands #8) by Cherise Sinclair. I haven’t read this BDSM series yet but many of my reader friends love them. From what I’ve heard, the first 2 aren’t quite as strong, but after the 3rd, they get amazing and should be read in order. If you do want to start the series, the first book, Club Shadowlands, is free.

• NEW RELEASE — Mine (Real #2) by Katy Evans. I know many of you have been waiting for this.

• NEW RELEASE — Rebel by Elle Casey. This the first of a New Adult romance series – but has NO cliffhanger – and several readers have messaged me about it. I haven’t read it yet but this is from the blurb: “Teagan Cross, college senior, rebel, and wiseass extraordinaire, goes from princess to pauper in a single phone call. Overnight, her life of privilege becomes one of survival… But when a twist of fate brings her to the doorstep of a different kind of Rebel, she’s forced to figure out when something’s worth fighting for and when something’s worth letting go.”

• NEW RELEASE — Rumor Has It by Jill Shalvis. This is the latest in the Animal Magnetism series. I haven’t read any of this author’s books yet but I follow her on Facebook and her posts make me smile ever day so here’s the series reading order in case you want to check them out: #1 Animal Magnetism, #2 Animal Attraction, #3 Rescue My Heart, #4 Rumor Has It.

• NEW RELEASE — Truce by R.L. Mathewson. This is the latest Neighbor From Hell book!! But this one is different – it’s a historical one! A friend of mine just read it though and said “Holy historical hotness! If you were expecting all politeness and modesty because of the era – think again!” And the blurb says that, “Truce is about a man who takes everything too damn seriously and can’t let go of the past until the woman that he would love to hate comes back into his life and brings out the Bradford within.” Also, if you haven’t read the original NFH books, here’s the reading order. They’re interconnected standalones and are absolutely hilarious!! #1 Playing For Keeps ($0.99), #2 Perfection ($0.99), #3 Checkmate.

• NEW RELEASE — Welcome To Sugartown by Carmen Jenner. This new book has great ratings and the hero is a “tattooed, Aussie sex god” with a secret!! I’ve received so many recommendations for it so I’m adding it to my list!! ** EDIT: I read this one the other night! Here’s my review.

• NEW RELEASE — Dark Frame by Iris Blaire. This is the sequel to Exposure. I haven’t read either book but I’ve heard the first book is a steamy forbidden-type romance.

• NEW RELEASE — Must Love Otters by Eliza Gordon. I haven’t read this but a friend of mine sent me a recommendation for it calling it a “a feel good, happy, sexy, funny read.”

• $0.99 SALE — Unteachable by Leah Raeder. This is a beautifully written student-teacher forbidden romance standalone!! I loved it!! Highly recommended. Read my Review.

• $0.99 SALE — Keep Me Still by Casey Quinn.  A friend of mine is reading this at the moment and is loving it so I though I’d pass on the link in case you want to check it out! The ratings are great and I just LOVE the blurb!!! Also, this is a Special Limited Time $0.99 sale that includes both the prequel novella + main full length novel so quite the steal!!

• $0.99 SALE — The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies #1) by Tarryn Fisher. This is Book #1 of one of my favorite series!! All the books are out already so you can read them at once. If you love flawed, complex, multilayered characters and emotional roller coasters, this is a MUST read! Read my Review.

• $0.99 SALE — Bone Deep by Bonnie Dee. Oooh I loved this book and it’s on sale today!! It’s a sweet, hot, and very “different” style romance read with a beautiful message about love having no limitations and a tattooed hero. Also, its a standalone! Read my Review.

• SERIES SALE ALERT — Emi Lost & Found Series by Lori Otto. This entire series has been bundled together!! This includes 3 full length novels + 2 bonus short stories. I’ve heard SUCH great things about this series (they’re highly emotional) and can’t wait to read them!!

• $0.99 SALE — Bully by Penelope Douglas.  This is one of my favorite standalones of the year and it gives a unique twist on the bad boy meets good girl tale. Also, 50% of the profits from November & December will be donated to PACER.org, an anti-bullying organization. Read my Review.

• $0.99 SALE — Remembering Joy by Jenni Moen. I’ve had this recommended to me several times. It seems to be about a girl with a past that she can’t remember but can’t escape and a guy she meets who knows her from her past and remembers everything. The hero is described as “dark, brooding and strangely charming” and the ratings are great!

• $0.99 SALE — Night Owl by M. Pierce. Ok, I’m sneaking this one in again cuz it’s just SO good and if you haven’t read it yet, you’re seriously missing out!! And at $0.99, it’s a total steal! If you’re looking a book with great blend of sweet, hot, passionate and kinky romance, a healthy dose of angst mixed in, a fast paced plot and complex characters, this is it!! Read my Review.

• $0.99 SALE — Falling Stars by Charles Sheehan-Miles. This novella is the latest in the Thompson Sisters series. I’ve read the first book and absolutely loved it (read my review) and if you haven’t read them, all 3 full length novels are bundled together on SALE for $7.99 in total at this link.

• FREE — Exposure by Iris Blaire. This is a bit of a forbidden romance that sounds steamy!! It’s about a girl who pays her University tuition by posing for an erotic magazine but nobody knows because she keeps her identity secret at school. But when a male model gets introduced and the sparks fly, she has to decide if she’ll show him the real her… Oh, and book #2, Dark Frame, was just released!

 

 

• READER RECOMMENDATION — Addicted To You by Krista and Becca Ritchie. This is the first book in a series that caught my eye today called Addicted. “She’s addicted to sex. He’s addicted to booze.” They pretend to be together as a way to hide their addictions but “as they sink beneath the weight of their addictions, they cling harder to their destructive relationship and wonder if a life together, for real, is better than a lie.” It is an on-going series, but these are the available books: #1 Addicted To You, #1.5 Ricochet, #2 Addicted For Now (coming Nov 12).
