*HEART CLENCH* *HAPPY DANCE* *GRIN*

♥ With all my heart, I adore this series!!  ♥

This whole series is a delicious blend of heart-clenching emotion, fan-yourself hotness, make-you-blush kink, combined with an engaging plot that keeps you flipping the pages. Its absolutely absorbing and I seriously didn’t want to put it down even for a minute!

The first thing I noticed were the Mr. chapter titles were back – YAY!! I really loved that idea from the first book – it was such an awesome way to give you an idea of what was to come and set the mood for the next chapter of the story!

The story in this one picks up literally RIGHT where the previous book left off so there’s no time jump or anything. I wouldn’t say that you would *have* to reread the last one to be able to follow but I did reread the last chapter of Mile High before starting and needed a small refresher on some of the character names. But it all came very quickly back to me and I connected back to the characters instantly.

But wow is this story intense from the start!! I have an interesting sort of ‘relationship’ with the characters in this book because they are both a little bit more strongly into the SM side of BDSM that I personally am fully comfortable with. But in the context of the story, it was EXACTLY what they both wanted and needed from each other and so I found that even though it kind of went right to the boundaries of my comfort zone, it never crossed the line and I always felt that everything that happened was ‘right’ for them.

And ho BOY is this book HOT!! I mean really HOT!! HOT. HOT. HOT!!  They. Have. Sex. Everywhere. and I really mean everywhere. And I really have to give the author major props for being inventive with the sex scenes – there were a few in particular in this book that honestly were completely unique given anything I’d read before. I mean, how rare is that?? A genuinely unique sex scene?? It was quite refreshing!

“I’m going to make you come so many ways that you forget all of the ways that you can find to doubt us.”

The thing about this book though (and it even applies to the series as a whole) is that yes, there is crazy fucking and kink and hotness of all sorts but OH MY LORD IS THERE ROMANCE as well!!!!! Like seriously!! Completely, utterly heart-clenching, squeeing-out-loud romance that just melted my heart!!

The sex and romance is VERY well balanced and when added to great character development, engaging plot lines and an emotional depth that make you really connect deeply with the story, you’ve really got the recipe for a wonderful trilogy.

I’ve always felt really strongly for James and Bianca and seeing them work through their ups and downs and get better at things, mess up, but always work things out was really heart warming.

You are more precious to me than my own life, by far. It’s not even a question. I would do anything for you.

James is just literally the PERFECT blend of everything you could want in a hero character. He’s fuckhot and Dominant, mouth-wateringly sexy but yet tortured and damaged, utterly Alpha and yet totally tender and romantic, with a sadistic side that would have made me uncomfortable except for it being always tempered by complete control that makes you always trust him, and a tender, caring, patient and understanding side that just makes your heart melt. He. Is. Perfect.

Seriously, so few book guys are the absolute perfect blend of everything I love and JAMES IS ONE OF THEM!!!  ♥

And Stephan! I still stand by my statement in my last review that he is the BEST best-friend character I have EVER read. E V E R !!! I heart him so much! And… as a treat, we actually get several scenes from his POV in this book including his back story. Have I mentioned that I heart him yet?? Cuz I really do.

I also really loved Bianca as a heroine. She had a few more insecurities than I would normally like, but I understood where they came from and I loved that they never made her go overboard. Also, she was always improving herself and I loved the way she always stood up for James and didn’t let stupid things come between them so I really have always respected her as a character.  And she had a totally AWESOME moment near the end that literally made me want to cheer. I’m sorry but the toilet bowl scene just pure win. I’m even grinning as I write about it 😀

I felt like this was one of those books where I understood all the characters’ insecurities and fears but also their wants and desires. Everything really clicked together so perfectly. It wasn’t always smooth sailing but I never wanted to throttle anyone and I respected the decisions they made as well as was pleasantly surprised by how functionally they worked through their issues despite the road being so rocky.

I loved how balanced both James and Bianca were – both as individuals and as a couple. They were both damaged but very functional. I never once rolled my eyes or wanted to throttle either of them and their decisions and reactions (even the ‘stupid’ ones) made sense to me and I could always see where they were coming from.

This series is definitely what I’d call a BDSM romance because its an honestly equal blend of the two. James is both her Dom and her lover.

“I honestly couldn’t tell which was driving him tonight, the Dom or my tender lover, there was such a mix of feelings in his eyes.”

“James had shown me a profound tenderness and love that belonged only to me, from our very first time together…. it was more precious of a gift than I’d allowed myself to see. He was my Dom, and I was his sub, but our love had turned it into so much more…”

There are punishments and there is love making. There are things that pushed me right to the edge of my comfort zone and then there were moments that made my heart race and made me want to happy dance around the room.

You know… my blog’s tagline is that I seek out books that “make my heart race, have a beautiful love story and a happy ending.”  This series is one of those  ♥

I will say though that as we got closer to the end, my heart was just pounding!!!! There’s this huge climactic scene at the end which the author did a wonderful job of showing from all perspectives. I totally felt like I was *right* there. Wide eyed and just clutching at my heart. I didn’t think she’d take it that far but HOLY SHIT!! I mean really. I couldn’t breath and I’m pretty sure my heart stopped at one point too!

But the ending is just PERFECT!!!! Guys, we get a DOUBLE epilogue!!!

And yes, all you worried people, there is a HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ENDING to the trilogy! I promise!

I highly highly recommend this series!!

Honestly, its one of my favorite ones out there. Ranked right up with Fifty Shades and Crossfire. If you are a fan of those, you will LOVE these. I’ve read a lot of ‘similarly’ themed books and I’ll say that despite the fact that all 3 series have hot and dominant billionaire heroes, they each stand on their own as having unique story lines.

Everyone should meet and fall in love with James Cavendish  ♥

Book Review – Lost To You (Take This Regret #0.5) by AL Jackson

Book Review – Lost To You (Take This Regret #0.5) by AL Jackson

*happy sigh* I loved this!! Absolutely fantastic!

AL Jackson is one of the most talented authors I’ve ever read. Her words have a way of reaching deep into your heart and not letting go.

I have to say that overall, between this beautiful novella and the heart-wrenching yet uplifting novel “Take This Regret“, Christian and Elizabeth’s journey remains one of my all-time favorites love stories.

This book is the prequel story to Take This Regret that tells the story of Christian and Elizabeth meeting and falling in love with each other.

Overall, its the story of young love, a mistake, a regret, and a second chance at love but just the way its written speaks straight to your heart.

I truly love stories that aren’t perfect – where the characters make mistakes, learn from them, trip and fall down but make it back up even stronger than before.

For those of you who have not yet read this or Take This Regret, please note that I would actually advise reading Take This Regret first. Despite this being a prequel to it, I personally loved knowing where Christian and Elizabeth’s story went before reading this – it somehow gave it a lot more meaning. So, if you haven’t yet read Take This Regret, I would suggest starting there. Its on my exclusive 6-star book list. That book touched my heart on so many levels, I can’t even begin to explain it.

That being said, you could also easily start with this book on its own. It does work either way 🙂

I really want to emphasize how much I LOVE AL Jackson’s writing style. Like seriously. With all my heart. I opened the first page of this book and literally just breathed this huge deep calming happy sigh because I just KNEW I was about to start a BEAUTIFUL book. There is just something about the way she writes that just projects the most intense emotions right onto you from the page. Its an all consuming experience and I love every minute of reading her books.

This story basically follows Elizabeth and Christian – young, in school and falling so sweetly in love. It was just adorable beyond all reason to watch them slowly give into their intense feelings for each other! It was perfectly paced, made my heart flutter and had me grinning for pages on end.

“I was in love with Christian. Completely.
There was nothing I could do about it, no way to take it back. It was there, strong, interwoven and beating with my heart.”

But its not all happy – there are a lot of tension that we begin to see the root of here that end up building to the events at the beginning of Take This Regret. We get incredible insight into Christian and you begin to understand his later choices more. The tension is largely external but its part of what shaped the characters into the people they were and influenced their decisions.

The story is told in alternating POVs so we really get the complete picture and a deep understanding of what each character was going through.Honestly, my heart went out to Elizabeth (who, incidentally, is one of my favorite heroines) and my heart went out to Christian (who you really just can’t help but fall for). I love them both so much.

Take This Regret is a second-chance love story so we know going into this read that something happens to tear them apart so there is also a measure of dread when reading because you *know* what is going to happen. But you should know that this book ends on a HAPPY note!!! It was really the perfect place to end it and the book left me with a warm fuzzy feeling … and also the intense desire to go and reread TTR.

This isn’t a full length book… I’d describe it more as a “book-like novella“. It only took me a few hours to read but was long enough that I had the time to really connect to the story.

I can’t recommend this highly enough!! With all my heart, I love this story  ♥

Happy reading!

.
Here’s MY REVIEW of TAKE THIS REGRET.
Unfortunately it was written in my pre-blogging days and isn’t as in depth as some of my more recent ones but just know that I. LOVED. THAT. BOOK. so so SO much !!!

Teaser snippet from Lost To You

“So how’s your math class going?” Christian wiped a napkin over his mouth, sat back in his chair with a satisfied sigh as he pushed his plate away. Completely casual, he appeared to be unaware of the chaos he created in me.

“Okay, thanks to you.”

A smirk pulled at his mouth.

“What would you do without me, Elizabeth?”

“Oh, I don’t know, find another cute boy to help me with math,” I said, anticipating his reaction if I teased him a little.

For a flash, his eyes narrowed, then a dangerous grin spread across his face.

“So I’m just dispensable, huh? Easily replaced?” He hunched and lowered, pressed his chest into the table to meet me at eye level, this slow playfulness coming across him. “How about I let you fail next time?”

“Well how about I feed you the wrong answers when we study for our next government test?” I countered.

He faked a disbelieving laugh, a gentle ribbing that twisted its way straight to my heart. He was so cute like this, like a harmless boy and not the man who made me fearful, not the one who urged me to hold onto my affections, careful not to let them go.

“You’re going to feed me the wrong answers, huh? You?” he challenged. The entire meal I’d felt his leg stretched under the table, reaching, giving in to  casual brushes, then receding as if they hadn’t happened.

Now Christian abruptly extended his leg, wove it between my legs, direct and bold. My breath caught. It was the closest we’d ever come to an embrace.

I averted my gaze, but couldn’t for long because I could feel him staring at me.

His voice dropped. “You, sweet Elizabeth, the most innocent girl I know, is going to feed me the wrong answers? I bet you’ve never even told a lie.”

Heat flooded my face.

He was taunting me, prodding. Is that what he really thought of me? Innocent? But honestly, I guess I was. Well maybe not innocent. . .just inexperienced. I had no idea how to play Christian’s games, no idea of what the girls he surrounded himself with were like, although I could only imagine. It had to be my greatest disadvantage. Vulnerability oozed from my consciousness, and I shifted in discomfort.

Christian could devour me whole.

His expression shifted as he edged even closer, his voice a whisper, “Just how innocent are you, Elizabeth?”

Book Review – Cloud Walking (Find You In The Dark #1.5) by A. Meredith Walters

Book Review – Cloud Walking (Find You In The Dark #1.5) by A. Meredith Walters

Please note that Cloud Walking is meant to be read AFTER  Find You In The Dark. It is not a stand alone and contains spoilers for that story.  My review, however, is spoiler-free 😉

What an absolute treat to be given a novella like this!

Its not often that you are able to get a part of the story that quite literally happens DURING a favorite book you’ve read – that takes the time to shine the spotlight on the secondary characters, to follow their lives and stories for a while, and to see the main characters you have come to love from a whole new perspective.

I thought it completed FYITD with details that wouldn’t have made sense to include in FY but that you still really wanted.

Maggie, Rachel and Danny have all been best friends since Kindergarten. Rachel has been in love with Danny since the day he saved her from bullies, but unfortunately, he has never seen her yet as anything but the very best of friends.

There was this pull between them that both of them felt, that Rachel desperately wanted to give in to and that Danny kept trying to ignore – unsure if the feelings were returned but really all they needed was a nudge in the right direction, which, thanks to their direct, no-BS, best friend, Maggie, they got 🙂

Having only seen Rachel and Danny from Maggie’s POV so far in Find You In The Dark, it was so wonderful to get inside their heads and see what they were thinking… and of course, to watch them get a beautifully happy ending.

“I just want to be the only thing he sees. I want to feel like we’re walking on clouds when we’re together. That I’m the girl he wants.”

I loved it because I felt like I already knew them so well from the previous book that I was able to instantly connect with them both right from the start of the novella – it was kind of just like taking a side step.

I’ll say again how much I really love this author’s writing. Its just one of those styles that flows so smoothly and keeps you immersed in the story.

I’ll say that  normally avoid novellas because I find I don’t usually have the time to connect with the characters, but I felt that because I read this one directly after Find You In The Dark, it just felt to me more like I was reading extra scenes from it – like it was somehow just an extension of that book. And, as such, I feel like my rating is also an extension of Find You In The Dark. I can’t rate them separately because the stories belong together.

I repeat. This is NOT a standalone.

But the whole story (starting with Find You In The Dark and leading here to Cloud Walking), the characters, everything, to me is worth 5 stars.

Basically, if you loved FYITD, and all its characters, then you’ll definitely love this.

It was short, sweet and I loved that Danny and Rachel got their HEA in the midst of all the emotional turmoil going on with Maggie and Clay. As its own story though, it was a lot less emotional – no tears or anything. It’s just a cute, short, sweet story of two best friends falling in love.

“There is no Daniel Lowe without Rachel Bradfield.”

The story takes place parallel to FYITD so be warned again, there are major spoilers in this book if you haven’t yet read Clay and Maggie’s story!

I would highly recommend reading this whole story. They’ve made it onto my favorites pile 🙂

Book Review – Wounded by Jasinda Wilder

Book Review – Wounded by Jasinda Wilder

5 stars!!

Absolutely BRILLIANT book!!!

Wounded was a beautiful, realistic, heart-wrenching and erotic love story that took me out of my comfort zone, wrapped me up in the characters’ journey and worked its way right into my heart.

It was absolutely NOT what I was expecting on so many levels but I LOVED IT!!!!

I’m done the book but I can’t even think about moving on yet, my mind keeps drifting back to Rania and Hunter….

This book caught my attention because it just seemed so DIFFERENT from so many others I’d read. I mean, its a romance between an American soldier and an Iraqi girl from two completely different worlds, on opposite sides of a war, with no common language, meeting by chance and falling in love. Yup. It had my undivided attention to the point where I actually dropped all my other reading plans for it, and let me tell you… it was SO worth it!!

The writing style is absolutely beautiful. The vivid descriptions just instantly transport you straight into the middle of the war zone during which the story takes place. I mean, You. Are. THERE. Right there.

The author has a simple but evocative way of allowing you to see every side of the conflict, every perspective – both the cold brutality and the intense emotions resulting from it. The senselessness, the unfairness, the destruction of lives, homes and spirit.

The story is about an Iraqi girl, Rania, whose home and family were torn apart in the war. Alone, starving, and unable to support herself, she resorts to selling the only thing anyone will buy – her body. She hates it with all her heart, but its that or death and she is a survivor through and through.

Hunter is an American soldier whose heart was recently crushed by his cheating ex-girlfriend only a few days before he was deployed. Coincidence leads him to a brutal gunfight right in front of Rania where he is critically injured. Drawn to him and unable to leave him to die, she drags him back to her humble dwelling and tries to help him heal.

Oh my gosh, guys. I can’t tell you how much this book touched my heart!! Here they are in the middle of this horrible war. He’s critically wounded. She’s selling herself for money. They don’t understand a word of each other’s language. But you can’t HELP but just FEEL their connection!! Its just the most unlikely combination ever but it so totally worked for them!

And I’m sure you can only IMAGINE the degree of protectiveness this all calls out of Hunter. Holy Alpha male! I mean, wow! His drive to protect her is just so strong and so deep but he’s fighting against it, I mean, he barely knows her but he’s just falling for her… and ohhhh the swoon!

And after all the horrors of her life and what she’s had to do to survive, he’s the first man to ever make her feel warm and safe and actually care for HER.

Because of the the contrast of the grit and destruction of war and their situation, everything beautiful between them was felt even more strongly. And the more they fell in love, the harder their situation became…. Gah!! My heart!!!

“A kiss, a kiss, just a kiss. But god, so incredible. I’m electrified, wired, hardened by the taste of her, the feel of her. Intoxicated by her. I’m shaking all over from the effort to keep my hands to myself, to keep the kiss chaste. Its an impossible losing battle. Then her hand leaves her lap and touches my face… A simple, innocent touch, but so meaningful. This woman who sells touch, who much find men to be such nasty creatures, this woman who has seen the worst monsters that are men, she’s kissing and touching me.”

Wounded has a gritty, heavy feeling to the story. However, it also flows smoothly and has no slow points. If I had had the time, I would have easily read it in one sitting.

This book is also HOT!! And I mean H.O.T. !! Like, woah hot. I have to say this was something I was NOT expecting from this. Simply given where the story took place and the nature of what was happening, I don’t know why, but I just did not expect it. But holyyy hotness! I’m serious. The first love scene went from 64-71% in the book and was absolutely beautifully portrayed, emotionally charged, intensely hot but also just so incredibly intimate. You could just FEEL how strong and deep their connection was. Totally made my heart pound.

Rania was such a wonderful heroine. She was strong and smart – an absolute survivor. I felt so terrible watching her have to do what she did to survive but admired her resilience. She truly deserved her happy ending.

“Of course, I know nothing of such things, having never had sex with a man who has not paid me for it. Perhaps all sex is paid for in some way. I think it is true. A man who takes a woman to dinner first, takes her to drink, tells her she is beautiful, pays her father to arrange a marriage to her… this is paying for sex. It is cloaked in custom and tradition, but the result – sexual domination of the man over the woman – is still prostitution.
I am not willing in this. I did not choose this life. I do what I must to survive. It is this, or starve.”

Hunter… ohhh my God I so totally loved him! He was protective and Alpha but in a very realistic way. The jealousy, disgust and possessiveness he felt listening to her ‘working’ just ate at my heart! And despite being this badass Marine, he was just so tender and patient and utterly sweet with her  ♥. There were several moments when he fought for and protected her that brought a smile to my face there was this one absolutely BADASS moment (and I’m even grinning as I write this) where you literally watched him switch from tender lover to hardcore Marine that just gave me CHILLS!!!!! LOVED IT!

“I don’t know what to say to her. I’m in battle mode. Shut down. Hard. I’m not Hunter anymore. I’m Lance Corporal Lee, USMC. Semper fi, bitches.

I loved that he didn’t care about her past – that when he looked at her, the only thing he saw was HER. And I loved watching her grow to trust him to take care of her even though really, she was also saving his life.

He lays me down on the bed and leans next to me. He does nothing but look at me for a moment.
“You are so beautiful,” he whispers. “Do you know that?”
I shake my head. “I know that men think –”
He cuts me off with a kiss. “Man. One man. Me. I’m all that matters. No one else can have you. You’re mine.”
I shiver at his words. “Do you promise me?”
“Yes, my love. I promise.”

Everything about this book felt real. The pacing was perfect and  absolutely everything about the story made sense. No moments of eye rolling or wanting to throttle characters.

It was a beautiful, character-driven story about two scarred people finding love in the most unlikely of places and ultimately saving each other. This book is definitely going to make my list of favorites for 2013!

The story is told in alternating POV’s which are clearly marked at the beginning of the chapters. The author’s writing captures the distinct voices of each of her characters so vividly that you can’t help but instantly connect with them and feel like you are right inside their thoughts.

Ok, I’m also going to try and answer a few question that I’m anticipating you’ll have…. About the war. Yes, its gritty and horrific and I know that some of you are wary of reading war stories but please don’t let that bother you here. The war is the setting for the story but it does not tear them apart. Yes, Hunter gets wounded several times but from the time they meet in the story, they are never separated. Yes, there are instances of rape and violence (well, its not exactly rape, its more that she’s forced to sell herself to survive) but they are not descriptive or gruesome – they are more just telling you what happens to her. It sickened me that it happened to her but the author did a great job about how she presented it – there are no extended rape scenes or anything like that.

I also loved that the book didn’t just end with them leaving the war zone and getting to safety. I loved that we got to see them build a life together after.

The story also has a happy ending complete with an epilogue so really, your heart will be safe.

“I love you, Hunter. Please do not stop. Not ever.”
“I won’t, I promise. Never. I’ll love you forever. I’ll make love to you until there’s no me and no you, only us together like this forever.”

Its a heavy read. Definitely not fluffy at all, but its hot and erotic (in the second half, once their relationship is established) and the story keeps you totally engaged all the way through. Its well-written and the kind of story that stays in your mind and heart even after you’ve finished your read.

I absolutely recommend it!

5 stars!

Both books in this world are complete standalones.
You can read either one without the other if you wish, but they are connected.

Book Review – Fallen Too Far (Rosemary Beach #1) by Abbi Glines

Book Review – Fallen Too Far (Rosemary Beach #1) by Abbi Glines

4.5 – 5 stars!!

“Blaire, I’m not a romantic guy. I don’t kiss and cuddle. It’s all about the sex for me. You deserve someone who kisses and cuddles. Not me. I just fuck, baby.

Aaaaaaaahhh amazing book but holy cliffhanger!
I need book #2!

Right. Freaking. N O W !
But O.M.G. I loved it!

This was my first Abbi Glines book. Ever. How I’ve managed to read this long and NOT read one of her book is a still a complete mystery too me. Her books feel almost like some sort of rite of passage as a reader. Everyone is always talking about them and now I know why!! I absolutely loved it, cliffhanger and all! A deliciously angsty bad-boy-meets-innocent-girl forbidden(ish) romance.

It was one of those books that I pretty much inhaled in one sitting and made me get all growly whenever someone tried to interrupt me.

Half a page in and I was grinning from ear to ear and yup, everything I’ve heard about Abbi Glines’ writing is true. Its addictive and catchy making the pages just fly right by. Its funny at times but will also pull the run out from under you in a heart beat with its twist. And its got this really easy-to-read and yet delightfully angsty feel to it!

After Blaire’s twin sister was killed in a car crash her father left their home, not even returning when Blaire’s mother died of cancer. Now, with no money, no home and no where else to turn, Blaire is sent to live with him. And his new wife. And her son. Blaire’s new step-brother….. Rush Finlay.

Rush was just absolutely delicious. With silver eyes, tattoos and a tongue piercing, he pretty much just oozed sex appeal. Add that to his cocky yet charming, hot/cold, mysterious, man-whoring bad-boy attitude, and how protective he got of Blaire the more he fell for her and you’ve really got quite the recipe for yum. I just love that kind of character. Makes my heart flutter every time.

“You don’t want to know me. You may think you do but you dont. I promise.”

But holy introduction! Literally, the first few times we see him, he’s having sex. Each time with a different girl!! He goes through girls like water, but yet he won’t touch Blaire. He wants her with every fiber of his being but doesn’t feel worthy of her. And he’s holding a big secret that could tear them apart if Blaire finds out.

“I can’t touch you. I want to so damn bad it hurts like a motherfucker but I can’t. I won’t mess you up.”

The whole set up just gave the book that wonderful angsty feeling that makes you desperate for answers.  Are they? Will they? Wont they? AND WHAT WAS THE BIG SECRET??? ohhhhhhhh I just needed to know!!

Blaire was such a likeable heroine. No matter what life threw at her, she was the type of girl who would find the silver lining and work through it. I loved her can-do attitude to everything. On one hand, she was this sweet yet naive, oh-so innocent country girl and on the other she was this tough-as-nails chick who’d really been put through the ringer by life but didn’t let it get her down. Oh, and she actually pulled a gun on someone. Twice!! Yeah, pretty hard not to like her 😛

I loved watching them fall for each other. It wasn’t smooth – no insta-love here. But the more time they spent around each other, the harder it was to deny the pull they both felt. And when they finally gave in, oooooh I felt it! I loved it! I loved them together. And holyyyy can Ms. Glines ever write a kiss! Yeah… I’m totally addicted!

“Don’t go getting shy on me now. ‘Cause baby, before the night is over you will be naked in my bed.”

I enjoyed this book right from the start – it probably was sitting at a very happy 4 star rating but somewhere around 70% suddenly my heart was just POUNDING and I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. Definitely a 5 star feeling if you know what I mean!

I mean… OHHH MYYY GODDD!!!!!

The bedroom!!

The party! Gah! and she wasn’t… but he was… and then… just.. ohhh the angst!

And then the snail tray thing and his reaction!

Ooooo then the “test me” thing… *SHIVERS*

Then “Mine. This is mine.”

The big reveal!! Gah! My heart just broke!!!!

And then the CLIFFHANGER!!!! I kept flipping the last page over and over again as if somehow it would magically make more words appear!

I NEED THE NEXT BOOK! Now now NOWWWWWW!  But ooohhh I loved this one! I really did! So much!!

“His eyes never left mine. I held his gaze. I could see the storm in his eyes. I knew he was confused. I could even see the fear. Then there was the love. I saw it. The fierceness in his eyes. I believed it. I could see it clearly. But it was too late now. The love wasn’t enough. Everyone always said that love was enough. It wasn’t. Not when your soul was shattered.”

I really think fans of Beautiful Disaster will love this book.

Abbi Glines, once my heart recovers, you have yourself a new fan!
