Here’s a quick recap of a few of the latest new releases, sales, news & recommendations.

SPECIAL NEW RELEASES

If Forever Comes by A.L. Jackson — This is the highly-anticipated sequel to Take This Regret and tells the final chapter of Christian and Elizabeth’s story. Be sure to read the first book, Take This Regret (Read my review), before as this is a direct continuation of that story.

Stinger by Mia Sheridan — This is the latest New Adult Romance Standalone release from the author of Leo & Leo’s Chance. While it continues that series, the story/characters are not connected to the rest of the series and you do NOT have to read any other books first.

Simple Perfection by Abbi Glines — This is book #5 in the Rosemary Beach series and is the conclusion of Woods and Della’s part of the story. This series must be read in the following order: Fallen Too Far, Never Too Far, Twisted Perfection, Forever Too Far, and then this book.

Unattainable by Madeline Sheehan — As part of a special deal with her readers, this book was released early! This is the third book in a gritty Motorcycle Club/biker romance series. I haven’t read them yet but the first two books in the series are Undeniable and Unbeautifully.

Safe With Me by Kristen Proby — This is book #5 in the With Me In Seattle series. Each book can be read as a standalone although they are all interconnected. The previous books in the series are: Come Away With Me, Fight With Me, Play With Me, and Rock With Me.

RECENT $0.99 SALES – new sales since the last post

$0.99 sale — Keep Me Still by Casey Quinn. I haven’t read this yet but the blurb looks so good!! It’s a New Adult romance that can be read as a standalone but there will be more coming in the series.

$0.99 sale — Inky (The Leaves #1) by JB Harnett. I haven’t read this either but have had it rec’d to me a few times. I was holding off on posting because it has a giant cliffhanger, but since the sequel, Cole, was just released, I’m going to take a closer look now!

$0.99 sale — The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window by Kristy Moseley. A sweet standalone romance about a girl who lives in an abusive home and the boy who sneaks in her bedroom window every night for 8 years to comfort her. Read my review.

$0.99 sale — Playing With Her Heart by Lauren Blakely. I’ve heard lots of good things about this book and it has VERY high ratings!! It’s “a sizzling and addictive story of a woman with a broken past and the man who can’t fight his attraction to her…” Note: This is part of a series but each book is about a different couple and can be read on it’s own as a standalone.

$0.99 sale – Axel by Harper Sloan. If you’re a fan of Kristen Ashley, you’ll love this one! It’s a badass Alpha male second-chance romance standalone. Read my review. And also, the next book in the series (telling Cage’s story) was just released: Cage (Read my review).

$0.99 sale — Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken. This book made me laugh, cry & swoon. Everyone should read it!! It’s a standalone New Adult romance with a HEA. Read my review. “I can tell you have a good heart… because the minute I met you, I wanted to fight for it.”

$1.99 sale — Connected by Kim Karr. “What if a ‘Once in a Lifetime’ could happen twice?” This New Adult Romance is on sale in anticipation of the sequel, Torn, releasing on October 1st.

RANDOM RECOMMENDATIONS

Don’t Make Me Beautiful by Elle Casey. This was my latest 5-star read. It was a beautiful, deeply touching story (inspired by true events) with a powerful message, a to-die-for hero and a strong heroine. I absolutely loved it!! Read my review.

Surviving Raine by Shay Savage. If you’re looking for something completely different than the norm, try this one! It’s about two people stranded on a life raft in the middle of the ocean struggling to survive and dealing with their growing feelings for each other. Read my review.

In The Fields by Willow Aster. A beautiful, heart-wrenching forbidden love story that took place in 1971. This one was so different than anything I’d read before! I loved it! Read my review.

A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers. A really cute double taboo love triangle with just the right amount of angst, two swoony guys, and exactly the ending I’d hoped for. Read my review.

BOOK NEWS

Fixed On You by Laurelin Paige is now available on paperback!! I absolutely loved this book! Any fans of the Crossfire series looking for something with the same feeling should try this! Read my review.

Freebie alert!! The first book of this YA paranormal dystopian series is free. I’d heard it’s amazing and has a beautiful forbidden romance, lots of action and an Alpha vampire hottie. It’s a completed series with a HEA. Here are the links:

New Cover Reveal for Sempre by J.M. Darhower!! This book used to be an indie but has since been picked up by Simon & Schuster and is being re-released this November along with a sequel to follow shortly after in December. Here are the answers to some questions you might have about this book’s re-release & about it’s sequel Sempre: Redemption …

How is the new SEMPRE different from the old one? The author says: “It’s gone through extra editing, so the word count has decreased and the plot line is tighter, and the sex scenes that previously faded to black no longer do that pesky fading thing. I know some of you will be elated about that. ” <— ooohh YES!!
It is confirmed that SEMPRE: REDEMPTION is in fact the continuation and completion of Carmine and Haven’s story which began in Sempre. It brings the story full circle.
The author has written a prequel telling Corrado’s story but has no news yet regarding it’s publishing.
