LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK!! 

This book was brilliant!!
Pure gold!
I’m in love with Simon.
Completely, utterly in love.
My cheeks ache from laughing.
My heart is happy.
Did I mention I love this book?

This book was pure, decadent, lighthearted, un-put-downable, FUN!! A well-written, perfect blend of all things happy, romantic, sweet, funny (hilarious, really), melty, swoony, witty, steamy, with just enough tender, deeper moments to make my heart squeeze. I fell in love with everything – the characters, the writing, the story… and Clive. The most awesome cat ever to grace the pages of a novel.

It was just one winning line after another. I swear to freaking God, more than half my book is highlighted. No joke!!

The banter! The chemistry! The flirting! The texts!!!! *melt* The nooking! The wooing! … this book is just loaded with win!

I read most of it with a big stupid grin plastered on my face and pretty much just alternated between squeeing, squealing, giggling, snorting, crying, shaking and cackling with laughter.

What’s this book about though? Now, usually, I write my own descriptions, but I love the official blurb too much so here it is:

Caroline Reynolds has a fantastic new apartment in San Francisco, a KitchenAid mixer, and no O (and we’re not talking Oprah here, folks). She has a flourishing design career, an office overlooking the bay, a killer zucchini bread recipe, and no O. She has Clive (the best cat ever), great friends, a great rack, and no O.

Adding insult to O-less, since her move, she has an oversexed neighbor with the loudest late-night wallbanging she’s ever heard. Each moan, spank, and–was that a meow?–punctuates the fact that not only is she losing sleep, she still has, yep, you guessed it, no O.

Enter Simon Parker. (No, really, Simon, please enter.) When the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts her heard-but-never-seen neighbor. Their late-night hallway encounter has, well, mixed results. Ahem. With walls this thin, the tension’s gonna be thick…

Simon “Wallbanger” Parker. Cocky, charming, sexy as all hell, confident… and once we got to know him better, sweep-you-off-your-feet swoony. I adored him, its that simple. He has made my list of top book boyfriends ever! I loved that his character had depth. At first you kind of wondered if he was just a bit of a manwhore but I loved that there was a whole background to him. And its hard not to love a man who is obsessed with baked goods.

“You want me to cut you a piece — okay, or you could just do that.” I frowned as he took a giant bite out of the end.
“Thif if mine, righ?” he asked, spraying crumbs.
“How do you function in normal society?” I asked shaking my head as he took another monster bite.

I loved Caroline too. She was sweet yet feisty and refreshingly direct about everything. Brain, Heart, Nerves, Backbone, and of course, O were brilliant additions to the story!

I also loved how casually Simon and Caroline’s relationship developed. They were seriously one of the sweetest couples ever but there was no falling into bed on first sight for them.

“Now, you listen, mister.” I said, trying for a more adult tone. “I’m not going to spend every night listening to you try to crash your girl’s head through my wall with the force of your dick alone! No way, buddy.”

They went from cockblocker/wallbanger to truce status to friends to lovers. The whole process just warmed my heart. And throw in a healthy dollop of sexual tension and innuendos out the wazoo and you pretty much have a recipe for awesome.

“I like that we’re taking things slow. You give good woo,” I whispered.

I never once felt any urges to throttle a character, or yell at them.. no eye rolling. Nothing. I was just one purely satisfied reader 🙂 … Oh, and “Simon goes commando. God bless America.”

Flaily Pink Nightie Girl and Mr Wallbanger Snorey Pants will always have a special place in my heart <3

This was a yummy 3 star read for me.

“Heart. Any fighter can win against any odds if he has more heart than his opponent.” 

It was short, predictable and more-than-a-little cheesy, but still, it was cute and had a fuzzy HEA.

Reid is a highly successful, smokin’ hot MMA fighter. He works hard at his job, is dedicated and right now does not have the time to be injured. Which is what leads him to Lucie. Lucie works as a physical therapist. She’s a cute, clumsy bookworm who is utterly infatuated with another doctor at her clinic who won’t give her the time of day and lacks the confidence to do anything about it. With Lucie desperate to go out with her doctor love and Reid desperate for more time around Lucie, he offers to move in with her so that she can give him around the clock physical therapy and he can give her “hands on lesson[s] in Seduction 101” *rolls eyes with a smile* … hmmm… I’m guessing I don’t need to spell out where this all going, riiiight?? 😛

“Maybe the best way to teach you how to seduce,is to let you feel what it’s like to be seduced.” 

There are a lot of “picture perfect” things about this book… I mean, its got “Cinderalla” in the title… its a little fairy-tale over the top perfect – cute and clumsy girl meets fuckhot tattoed filty rich bad-boy-with-a-soft-artistic-side fighter… moves in with him instantly… just can’t resist the chemisty etc. But at the same time, if you just approach it as a fun, light read then its pretty cute.

I did really love that Reid wasn’t just pure fighter – he cooked, painted, sculpted etc. He wasn’t afraid to show all his sides and it only added to his hotness! Seriously, I need to find me some more MMA fighter guy books!

“Because when I make you come for the first time I don’t want you holding back. I want to hear every hitch of your breath… Every moan… And I won’t be satisfied until you scream my name.” 

The sex is hot and there’s a fair bit of it. There were several moments where I wanted to slap or throttle both of them but the ending is all wrapped up in a little bow and there are no surprises or twists to the story.

I liked it, but I found it very easy to put down and I prefer my stories with a little bit more depth. But if you are looking for something light, short, with steam and a HEA, then this is might be the book for you.

OMG!! It’s on sale!! This is one of my top favorite books and it almost never goes on sale so I’m happy dancing here! This is a standalone bad boy romance that will have you falling in love with Travis Maddox. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Read my review.

 

ENTWINED WITH YOU by Sylvia Day — $2.49 Recommendation

Another rare sale!!! I absolutely adore the Crossfire series and Book 3 just went on sale for $2.49 (reg. price $7.99)!! This is not a standalone and should be read after the first two books (#1 Bared To You and #2 Reflected In You). I highly, highly recommend this series for fans of hot, sexy, passionate, emotional and intense romance.

 

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by John Green — Price Drop

This book was devastating but told such a beautiful story!! From the blurb: “Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green‘s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.” 

 

WAIT FOR YOU by J. Lynn — $1.29 Recommendation

This is one of my favorite standalones and it’s on sale today!!  If you are ever looking for a sweet, funny, touching romance with an uberly swoony guy, this would be a great choice! I highly recommend it (and it has no cliffhanger). Read my review.

 

WELCOME TO SUGARTOWN by Carmen Jenner — $0.99 Sale

This book was a fun, crazy ride with some hilarious moments and also several dark, angsty twists. Let me tell you — this small town was definitely not boring!! Not with Elijah Cade in it! I will just warn that there was one scene in it that I had a big issue with but other than that once scene, I really enjoyed the book. Read my review for more details.

 

NIGHT OWL by M. Pierce — $0.99 Recommendation

If you’re looking a book with great blend of sweet, hot, passionate and kinky romance, a healthy dose of angst mixed in, a fast paced plot and complex characters, this is it!! I was hooked from the first page and pretty much squeed and fanned my way through most of this book!! I didn’t want to put it down, didn’t want to stop reading… just totally LOVED it!! Oh, and it’s still priced at $0.99 for now!! Read my review.

 

AXEL and CAGE by Harper Sloane — $0.99 Series Sale

For this weekend only, both AXEL and CAGE are on sale for $0.99 each!! If you’re a fan of badass, protective Alpha male heroes with huge hearts, definitely check these out!! They are both standalones but should be read in order. My review of Axel. My review of Cage.

 

EVERSEA and FOREVER JACK by Natasha Boyd — New Release

Forever Jack just went live early!! This is the highly anticipated sequel to Eversea (Read My Review) that tells the conclusion of the romance between A-list actor Jack Eversea and the feisty small town girl he fell in love with. 

 

BAD THINGS and ROCK BOTTOM by R.K. Lilley — New Release

This is book 2 in the Tristan & Danika trilogy and I loved it!! It  tugged at every one of my heart strings and while it was emotional and heart breaking at times, it left me hopeful and eager for more. Here’s my review. This is an awesome series but be sure to start with Book #1.

 

 

SEMPRE and SEMPRE REDEMPTION by J.M. Darhower

One of my most favorite books, Sempre, was just re-released by Simon & Schuster (it was previously released as an indie). This is the story of two 17-year-olds – one a victim of human trafficking; the other the son of the man who enslaved her – who fall in love and question everything they ever believed…” The new book is only $1.99  (no cliffhanger) and the sequel will be out on December 16th!

 

 

ADDICTED TO YOU and RICOCHET by Krista & Becca Ritchie — $0.99 Sale & Recommendation

The first two books in the Addicted series are on sale for $0.99 each. I adore this series!! It’s emotional, heartfelt and sexy with great writing, deeply flawed but lovable characters, an emotional intensity that just keeps drawing me further in and a very unique storyline. Read My Review.

 

BEAUTIFULLY AWAKE by Riley Mackenzie — $0.99 Sale

This is a book from my upcoming reading list that I noticed went on sale for $0.99. It’s the first of a series but reads as a standalone (the next book will be about a different couple) and it seems to be a sexy doctor romance!!

 

SEARCHING FOR MOORE by Julie Richman — $0.99 Sale

The first book in the Needing Moore trilogy is on sale for $0.99 for this week only. Be warned that first two books do have cliffhangers but the third one will have a fully resolved ending. I haven’t read these books yet but they have very high ratings and are a second chance romance! Here’s the reading order: Searching for Moore ($0.99), Moore To Lose (available), Moore Than Forever (coming early 2014). 

 

TROUBLE by Samantha Towle — New Release & Recommendation

If you are looking for a bad boy romance, check this one out. This was a really fun standalone romance with a twist I didn’t see coming and one of the best guy POV’s I’ve ever read! It also has a fully resolved ending + epilogue. Read my Review. 

 

HARD AS IT GETS by Laura Kaye — New Release

This is a new romantic suspense novel from the author of Hearts in Darkness. The hero of this story is an ex-military guy who now runs a tattoo parlor whose life is turned upside down when the daughter of his ex-commander walks into his life.

 

KILLING SARAI by J.A. Redmerski — $0.99 Sale

In anticipation of the sequel, Reviving Izabel, bring released on December 10th, the first book in this series is on sale for $0.99!! This is a fast-paced romantic suspense novel with a hero who is a dangerous hit man. Read my Review.

 

ADORE ME by Jillian Dodd — New Release

This is a novella in the Keatyn Chronicles series. I haven’t read them but I have heard to many amazing things about these books from readers that I might just have to try them out!!
