MY TOP RECOMMENDATION: Waiting For Wyatt by SD Hendrickson (Read my Review)
“My heart flipped a little, and I fell deeper for Wyatt Caulfield, the mysterious guy who said he was dangerous and bad.” — I absolutely loved this book!! It kept me glued to the page until 4AM because I just did not want to stop reading. The haunting pain of Wyatt’s secret past tugged all my heart strings, while Emma’s quiet strength gave me hope for their future. Their romance was beautifully intense, and although often painful, the strength and endurance of their love for each other can only be described heart-warming. This was exactly the kind of book I love reading — it was incredibly well written, and loaded with feels, intrigue, and a captivating romance. I already know this will be one of my Favorite Books of 2016. It’s a top recommendation and is NOW LIVE so be sure to grab a copy!!! (standalone)

NEW TOP RECOMMENDATION:
SQUEEE!!!! I just read Built by Jay Crownover (Read my Review) and LOVE LOVE LOOOVED it!!!! There’s a surprise twist to the story that makes it exactly the kind of book that I love MOST!!! I don’t want to give details away but if you like stories where the hero/heroine has a kid, then this is the book for you! The hero is this big, sexy, tattooed, protective guy with a secret in his past that was just revealed and the heroine is helping him as they’re falling in love… I read it in one sitting and swooned almost non-stop!! There’s something about an Alpha guy who is willing to go to the ends of the earth to protect his family and to fight for the woman he loves that just makes my heart RACE!!!!! This is my first Top Favorite Book of 2016 and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!! Oh, and it can be read as standalone! If you’re looking for something new to read, try this!! (Standalone Romance. No Cliffhanger. Epilogue)

Ahhhh you guys, this is literally one of my most favorite books EVER!! I finished this book at 4AM because I just did not want to put it down and absolutely LOVED it!!!! The hero stole my heart!!! He was brooding, tortured and mysterious, clearly hiding a deeply painful past. But he was also sweet and kindhearted and he had dimples!!! *swoon* I so desperately wanted the heroine to save him… AHHH!!! This seriously was EXACTLY “my kind” of favorite book. It was totally unique and DIFFERENT, incredibly well written, and loaded with feels, intrigue, and romance. I could see it playing out in my head like a movie. The story was at times painful, but most often HEART-WARMING. The epilogue left me with such a HUGE SMILE on my face. This is definitely going to be one of my Top Favorites of 2016. Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you all on the latest book news! I wasn’t able to read much last week because I was traveling. I had fun “blogging on-the-go” throughout the trip but am also glad to be back and looking forward to lots of reading in the coming days!

This was also the year’s smallest new release week (probably because of the timing so close to the holidays) but next week is going to be pretty awesome for new books and this week we do have a few new books and many, many, many sales so it’s a great time to stock up on great books for great deals!

On a personal note, I was incredibly excited to get a signed copy of my #1 favorite book in the whole world, The Bronze Horseman, yesterday! Seriously guys, I was freaking OUT! This is literally the most EPIC LOVE STORY I’ve ever read and it’s also the ONLY ten-star rating I’ve ever given. If you haven’t read it yet, grab a copy or read my review!

So because of how different this book-week is, the format of this list is also naturally a little different than the usual but there are still a whole lot of great books to check through (including some 2015 Top Favorites) so… HAPPY READING!!!

LATEST REVIEW:
Until You by Jeannie Moon (my review) — I picked this book up randomly last night because was drawn to the premise and I started reading the first few pages out of curiosity and just never stopped until the very end! It’s safe to say that I enjoyed it and was quite invested in these characters’ story which was a sweet, heart-warming romance about a forty year old heroine who just got out of an ugly marriage, and a famous, sexy (younger) professional hockey player who fell head over heels for her and made it his mission to prove to her that she was the only one for him…

LATEST RECOMMENDATION:
Kane’s Hell by Elizabeth Finn (my review) — WOW!!! I absolutely LOVED this book. It is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I totally loved it!!!! There are very DARK, GRITTY parts of the storyline, but it’s also deeply, intensely, beautifully, and painfully ROMANTIC. It’s raw, emotional, erotic, and had this SPARK that made my heart race and kept me CONNECTED to the story. Please be warned that the main couple share a very painful past which could include triggers for some readers. It is genuinely horrific and not glossed over. (Note: there are several chapters – the flashbacks – near the beginning that had me questioning whether I could or even wanted to handle this story, but I’m SO GLAD I kept going). They do get through it, and their journey back together and the way they helped each other HEAL through their undeniable and undying LOVE for each other was just gorgeous. I’ve written a detailed review (with an optional, hidden spoiler section in case anyone needs it). I don’t think this book will be for every reader, but I LOVED it. For me, this is a 2015 FAVORITE!!!! It’s a standalone with a gorgeous ending! (purchase or read my review) — “Everything in my life seems to bring me to you.”
