Here’s a round up of some of the latest releases and sales, along with some of my recommendations. There are lots of awesome books to choose from here!! Happy reading, everyone 🙂

CARNAGE by Lesley Jones — Just finished reading + LOVED it!!!!!

I just finished this and WOW!!!! I totally understand why so many readers are calling this one of their favorites of the year. It was an epic, passionate, gut-wrenching love story. A non-stop, messy, emotional, beautiful, devastating roller coaster ride from start to finish and honestly, I LOVED IT!!!!! It made me FEEL every emotion. It took over my life and heart. But please know that this is NOT your typical romance story and it’s also not the kind of book that I usually read either. Just please go into it with a very, very open mind. LOVING MR. DANIELS by Brittainy C. Cherry — Latest Top Recommendation!!

<— I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! What a BEAUTIFUL story it was!! It took me by surprise in the best of ways. It was so much MORE than just a forbidden student-teacher romance. It was a love story and it was a life story. All kinds of love, all kinds of life. I laughed, I cried and I totally loved it!! It’s a standalone and you can read my review here. I highly recommend checking it out, especially if you were a fan of Slammed!!

 

 

NOWHERE BUT HERE by Renee Carlino — Recommendation

<— This is a standalone with a beautiful story, beautiful writing and a beautiful message!! It’s about a reporter who goes to interview a reclusive tech genius turned winemaker in the Napa Valley, and instead finds love in the most unexpected of places…I laughed, I swooned, I wiped happy tears away, and I fell in love. This book warmed my heart and left me with the most wonderful feeling. I highly recommend it for all fans of romance! (Read my Review)

 

THE YEAR WE FELL DOWN by Sarina Bowen — Latest Book Review

<— I finished this standalone a few days ago and really enjoyed it!!! It was a wonderful, sweet New Adult college romance. Kind of an “unlikely-friends-to-lovers” story. The heroine was confined to a wheelchair and the hero had broken his leg in two places but the two of them weren’t going to let life bring them down and their story just brought a smile to my face! Definitely check it out!! (Read my Review)

 

 

THE RESURRECTION OF AUBREY MILLER by LB Simmons — MUST READ!!

<— I’m bring back this recommendation because it’s still one of my top favs right now. It’s definitely a must-read of the year!! It’s a standalone that captured the same special feeling we’ve found in favorites such as The Sea of Tranquility and Hopeless. It’s the kind of book that will have you laughing aloud one minute and wiping tears the next. It had a powerful message and more than anything, I found it to be very uplifting. I absolutely adored it!! 5 STARS!! Read my review.

 

PUSH by Claire Wallis — New Interview + Recommendation

<— I’m bringing this one back because I just interviewed the author and found it really interesting so see what she had to say about the story! If you haven’t read the book yet, be sure to check it out. Here’s the line from the blurb that hooked me ➜ He’s calm, collected, & makes her feel safe but he has a very chilling past: his six previous girlfriends have all disappeared without a trace. <— WOAH, right?? CLIPPED WINGS SERIES by Helena Hunting

Inked Armor, the sequel to Clipped Wings, was just released and now that this couple’s story is complete, I can’t wait to start reading this series!!!! The blurb calls it an emotional love story between two young people who desperately want to love and be loved but are afraid to completely let go of their pasts!! <— Love that!! (Be sure to read them in order)

 

SWEET FILTHY BOY by Christina Lauren — New Release

This is the first in a new series by the Beautiful Bastard series authors and it sounds really good!!! ➜ “One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him….”

 

ENTICE by Rachel Van Dyken — New Release

This is a Mafia-themed romance that is the third book in Rachel Van Dyken’s highly rated Eagle Elect series but can also be read as a standalone. The first two should be read together though. I’ve listed them all here: #1 Elite, #2 Elect, #3 Entice.

 

ALL LINED UP by Cora Carmack — New Release

This is the first of a new New Adult romance series called Rusk University. The hero is a “supremely hot” football player with a lot to prove, while the heroine is the coach’s daughter who just wants a life of her own…

 

THE FORGOTTEN GIRL by Jessica Sorensen — New Release

This new standalone dark thriller sounds interesting!! It’s about a girl with amnesia who starts having blackouts and each time she wakes up from one, she’s near a murder scene with no recollection of what happened the night before…

 

THE FIGHT FOR US by Elizabeth Finn — New Release

This sounds really different!! The hero is running from his past and moves with his teenage daughter to a new town where she is unfortunately the victim of bullying at school. Meanwhile the heroine is shocked to find herself called into school to hear that her daughter has bullied a new student. It’s a rocky start for them but there’s more to their connection than just two daughters… “His soul is broken, and as much as he’s drawn to her, he’s equally terrified of what that means.”

I AM HER…  by Sarah Ann Walker

A reader just recommended this series to me so I’m passing on the links in case you want to check them out too. I’m told the story has both suspense and romance and it’s about a woman trying to figure out her past… #1 I Am Her, #2 This Is Me, #3 My Dear Stranger

 

WITHIN TEMPTATION by Tanya Holmes — New Release

This standalone romance looks really good!! The blurb says that it’s about “love, betrayal and murder in a small town” where a woman fears she may have helped convict an innocent man and in her quest for answers, she seeks help from the one person least likely to give it: her best friend and childhood crush, Trace Dawson. The man she sent to prison.

 

DEEPER by Robin York — $0.99 Sale

Huuuuuuge sale!!!! This book from TBR and just dropped in price to $0.99 (reg. $7.99). It’s the first of a 2-part romance series called Caroline & West (#1 Deeper, #2 Harder) about a college student who is attacked online when her ex posts their sex pictures. She tries to make the pictures disappear… then a guy she barely knows rises to her defence…

PRETTY LITTLE THINGS by Teresa Mummert — New Release

This is a standalone romance! ➜ “I was young enough not to understand that my life was different. Colin became the one person that I could count on to protect me. These two books are on sale now. One of them, LOST IN ME, is a “sexy amnesia love triangle” and the other book (unrelated), UNBREAK ME, is a NA romance with no cliffhanger. They both sound really good!!!

WOW!! This is literally only $0.31!! The regular price is usually $10!! I really adored this book — it’s a gorgeous, emotional YA romance (first in a series, but can be read as a standalone) and this is practically FREE right now. GET THIS ONE!!! (Read my Review)

 

AXEL by Harper Sloan — $0.99 Sale

If you’re a fan of alpha male romance and still haven’t read Axel, now’s your chance ‘cuz it’s only $0.99!! It’s a standalone second-chance romance but it’s the first of an awesome series too!! Oh, and this version has some bonus scenes. (Read my Review)
