Second chance romances are love stories where the couple is reunited after a long separation. Often deeply emotional reads and one of my very favorite kinds of romance because the connection between the couple is often intensified by their history together.

Hi Aestas! So for second chance romances I have to recommend Beautifully Done! The hero and heroine were childhood best friends that were torn apart by a horrendous tragedy. This book has every single feel and is so much more than a love story, it is the story of life. Hope you check this one out too! xx Robin

The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders is MUST for second chance romances! It is so angsty and there is the PERFECT amount of groveling! (I usually think the heroes never grovel enough) Its kind of like a HP book, but like… executed correctly. YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT!

I love your blog…big time. To me it’s the #1 bestest!
If it’s okay I would love to recommend “Running Barefoot” by Amy Harmon to you. I follow your reviews on goodreads too and it doesn’t look like you’ve read it and I really think it’s one you would enjoy. It’s that small town 2nd chance love warm feeling that made me kind of giddy. I just recently finished it and thought of you because I know how much you love The Sweet Gum Tree (as so do I). It’s not exactly like that book at all but sort of has that feeling. It’s just real sweet with some heartbreak, but of course the best, a HEA.
