Twilight was THE series that got me back into reading. It was the first paranormal romance that I ever read and it instantly made me crave more. Intense, undeniable forever love, focus on the character’s journey rather than external drama, and a happy ending… all in the same book?? I knew I needed to find more books like this that left me with such a happy feeling and just made me want to read them over and over again.

I can’t say enough good about this series. It portrays the intensity of first love so beautifully, really making you feel with the characters.

This is a hot, steamy, funny PNR series taking place in a world of vampires, Valkyries, Lykae, fey, demons, ghosts, and more. I like/loved some books more than others. The first 2  were the hardest for me to get through, the heroes were a little too controlling for my tastes, but there were many books in the middle of the series that I absolutely loved. This is one of those series that gets better and better as it progresses. If I had to rate the series as a whole, I’d give it 4 stars despite there being some 5 star reads in it.

This is one of THE ABSOLUTE BEST PNR/UF series out there!! Bones might be THE hottest vamp ever written! Major swoon alert: be sure to read with a drool bucket 😛

The series follows Cat, a feisty, kick-ass, half vampire hunter with a wicked sense of humor half vampire huntress, who meets and falls in love with Bones (Crispin Philip Arthur Russell III), a deliciously sexy, super protective, uber alpha male hero that will have you swooning in no time. This series is pretty unique in that its technically an UF series but it follows the same couple (Cat& Bones) throughout whole series.

Each book ends with a happy-for-now ending leaving you satisfied that the story has wrapped up but still hungry for next book (except book 1, that one ends on a cliffhanger so if you are starting this series out, be sure to have book 2 lined up because you’ll definitely want to read them back-to-back).

What I loved about this series is that Cat & Bones are together as a couple for the whole duration of it, no on-and-off nonsense or long term separation. I give Jeaniene Frost major kudos for doing a wonderful job of creating drama and driving the plot forward without needing to mess with the main characters’ relationship.

This has plenty of laugh-out-loud humor, seriously steamy HOT sex (Chapter 32 of Book 2 is INFAMOUS… yes, I said the WHOLE chapter!!), an engaging plot, wonderful side characters (with their own books) and a beautiful romance that will melt your heart 🙂

I cannot recommend this series highly enough!!

Alpha male fans!!!! This is a novella in the Corps Security series that continues the story of Cage & Melissa!! It is not a standalone though and it is recommended to read it after CAGE (or, preferably, the whole series). I really love this series – total badass Alphas in love with their women! Reading order: #1 Axel, #2 Cage, #3 Beck, #3.5 Uncaged.

O-M-G!!!! Hudson Pierce is getting his own book!!! This is a full-length companion novel to the Fixed Trilogy told in his POV. This is one of my favorite YA romances! It’s heart wrenching and brought me to tears more than once! I loved Noah!!! And this is usually a pricey eBook (around $10) but it’s about half off right now. It’s the first of a series but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommended for anyone who loves emotional reads!!

All the books are full length novels except Falling Stars which is a novella. Reading order: #1 A Song For Julia (free novel), #1.5 Falling Stars ($0.99 novella), #2 Just Remember To Breathe ($0.99 novel), #3 The Last Hour ($0.99 novel). Then comes the first book in the spin-off series: Girl of Lies ($0.99 novel) ** Technically, Breathe was written before Julia so you can start with it if you prefer — either way works.

I haven’t read them but I’ve heard good things about them!

LOVE HACKED: A RELUCTANT ROMANCE by Penny Reid — New Release

This is the third book in the Knitting in the City series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone and I’ve heard they’re really funny, smart romantic comedies (plus, they have great ratings)!! I can’t wait to read them. AFTERSHOCK by Sylvia Day — New Release

Reading order: #1 Naked, #2 All In, #3 Eyes Wide Open, #4 Rare and Precious Things.

 

DEEPER by Robin York — Price Drop

This book is on my TBR and it just dropped in price to $4.27 (reg. $7.99). It’s the first of a 2-part series called Caroline & West and is about a college student who is attacked online when her ex posts sex pictures of her. She tries to make the pictures disappear… then a guy she barely knows rises to her defense… (The sequel is available for preorder)

 

DESTROYED by Pepper Winters — New Release

EMI LOST & FOUND SERIES by Lori Otto — Series Bundle

I’m including this again in this list because I LOVE IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! I recently finished this series and was blown away by it!! What an AMAZING story. SO powerful. SO emotional. A one-of-a-kind, atypical romance. I truly FELT this journey the whole way through.  This version of the series is a complete series set which includes the prequel, all 3 full-length novels and also 2 bonus short stories (they must be read in order).

I’ve written a long series review with 2 parts – a spoiler-free one, and also a hidden section that explains the story a little for anyone who doesn’t want to go in blind. But for now, know that I LOVED it and that this story will stay in my heart forever.

This is a HUGE sale for the entire series including 5 full length novels + 1 novella for $0.99 in total!! I haven’t read them but Colleen Hoover recommends the series saying, “This duo has done it again!…Each book in this series is filled with characters that you can’t get enough of.”

This is the first of a series and I haven’t read it yet but the blurb says: “Temporary. THE THRILL OF IT by Lauren Blakely — $0.99 Sale

I haven’t read this yet but the ratings are high! The blurb intrigued me… “A high-priced virgin call girl by the time I started college, I was addicted to love and to sex. Even though I’ve never had either. I controlled love, played it, and held the world in the palm of my hands. Then I fell down from those highs, and I’m being blackmailed for all my mistakes, forced to keep secrets from everyone, except the only guy I don’t regret.”

 

AROUSE by Nina Lane — $0.99 Sale + TOP Recommendation

This is the first book of one of my most FAVORITE (and completed) series. It differs from most romance books because this story follows an already-married couple. It’s almost like the story that happens after the happily-ever-after that most romances end on. Dean & Liv truly have one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve ever read. I can’t recommend these highly enough. This is the kind of series that ruins me for all others. Reading order: #1 Arouse, #2 Allure, #3 Awaken. (read my reviews)
