IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

or… it’s the blog’s birthday, rather 😉

April 15th marks the first year that Aestas Book Blog has been running!
I swear, it feel like it was yesterday that I made the first post.

And the fact that, since then, the blog has had several hundred thousand visits is just completely and utterly MIND BLOWING to me!!!

I can honestly tell you that when I first started this blog, I had no idea it would turn into anything. It was just me and my crazy mad book obsession wanting to put my thoughts down about all these amazing books that I’d been reading. Turns out I wasn’t the only one with such an addiction and over the past 12 months, I’ve had the privilege of “meeting” an incredible number of amazingly wonderful readers and incredibly talented authors. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me knowing there are so many other people out there whose hearts race when their favorite book is mentioned, who’ll stay up till 5AM ‘cuz they just *had* to finish their book and who love to share recommendations.

You guys have all made it this past year one helluva fun time,
so I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!
