My newest TOP recommendations are Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec because seriously EVERYONE needs to read this book!! Everyone. Also Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty which is actually fiction, not romance, but I read it to try something different than my usual and was blown away by the writing and story!!!! And Here With Me and Choose Me by Heidi McLaughlin — an awesome 2-book second chance military romance story with a very unique set-up! Oh and I’ve also recently loved both Pocketful of Sand by M. Leighton and Where One Goes by BN Toler. And finally, my list of Best Books of 2015 has been updated!

Here With Me and Choose Me by Heidi McLaughlin (Read my Double Review) 

HOLYYYYY SHIT!!!!! I just read both Here With Me and Choose Me back-to-back because I literally COULD. NOT. PUT. THEM. DOWN!!!! Together they tell a complete story and seriously, IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! OMG. My heart!!! Gah!!! The feels!!! It kept me glued to the page from start to finish and basically, I HIGHLY recommend them!!

The story is about Evan Archer, a Navy SEAL, who fell in love with a girl when they were in high school. They built and planned a life together. He was sent away on a mission that ended up going wrong. It was supposed to be a quick in and out but they ended up away for six years. Ryley was told he was dead. A body was sent home. She buried the man she loved and was forced to move on. Her life fell apart and Evan’s twin brother Nate Archer was there to help her pick up the pieces, and help her raise her son. Until the day Evan came home, with no idea that she didn’t know he was alive… and found her engaged to Nate.

PS: I’m NOT a fan of love triangles but I’m loved this series! There were no “teams” for me here. Not even for a single moment. I knew from the start exactly who the “right one” was in my opinion and I checked before I committed to reading them that he was the one. Haha that’s the only reason I was ok with this story. Without spoilers, I’ll just say that if you’re worried about anything in them, don’t be! ❤

Fuel The Fire (Addicted series) by Krista & Becca Ritchie

OMG. “FUEL THE FIRE” is LIVE EARLY!!!!!! This is the newest book in the amazing Addicted series — literally my #1 TOP FAVORITE on-going series!!

This book reads as book 8 chronologically. The series reading order is confusing ‘cuz there are 2 series that go TOGETHER (following the same 3 couples) so I strongly recommend reading these books in the full order. These are NOT standalones. However, there are also no cliffhangers now so you are safe to start. All the books are all full-length novels. Here’s the full order: Addicted To You, Ricochet, Addicted For Now, Kiss The Sky, Hothouse Flower, Thrive, Addicted After All, Fuel The Fire.

PS: I know it says this is “book #3 of Calloway Sisters” on Amazon but it’s complicated. Basically, the full Addicted series is broken down into 2 sub-series. There are 3 couples who are present in ALL the books in the series, but different books are told from different couple’s perspectives so depending on the perspective, they can be called “spinoff” books BUT they ALL chronologically go together (no lapse in timeline) so pleeeeeeeease just trust me and read them the way I posted them. I promise it’s the best way!

Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec (Read my Review)

WOW. WOW. WOW!! I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK!!! I finished it with my heart overflowing with emotions. This story captivated me from the first page and I was literally unable to put it down until I finished!!! I was highlighting quotes non-stop!! This was exactly the kind of book that I most LOVE to read! A heart-wrenching, achingly BEAUTIFUL story of true love spanning 15 years. It’s a second chance military romance and one of the BEST books I’ve EVER read. A TOP RECOMMENDATION!!!! Everyone should read this!! 5+++ STARS!!!

 

Big Little Lies by Lianne Moriarty (Read my Review)

“A murder. A tragic accident…. Someone is dead. But who did what?”

WOAHHHH!!!! I finished this last night and LOVED it!! This was a genre change for me because I was just craving something “different” so I gave this a try and was BEYOND impressed with it!! Holy wow. The writing was FANTASTIC — starkly honest, detailed, introspective, observant, multi-sided… the story kept me guessing right up til the end. There were TWISTS that totally shocked me and I just had these CHILLS run through me at the reveals. This author really GETS people and interactions in a way I’ve seldom seen before. Gah. It was POWERFUL. I loved the writing, I loved story, I loved the ending… it was an incredible reading experience. I totally get why they’re making it into a movie (with Reese Witherspoon & Nicole Kidman). I HIGHLY recommend it! 5 STARS!!

If you want pure, heart-wrenching, addictive ANGST, then throw your judgments out the window and try this series!!!

Jake Understood by Penelope Ward — New Release!!

Bad boy alert!!! This is a standalone BUT it’s also a companion novel to another highly-rated book, Jake Undone. If you’re going to read both, then they should be read in order (Jake Undone, then Jake Understood) OR you can read this one alone.
