NEW REVIEW JUST POSTED:
Waiting For Wyatt by SD Hendrickson (Read my Review)
I finished this book at 4AM because I just did not want to put it down and absolutely LOVED it!!!! The hero stole my heart!!! He was brooding, tortured and mysterious, clearly hiding a deeply painful past. But he was also sweet and kindhearted and he had dimples!!! *swoon* I so desperately wanted the heroine to save him… AHHH!!! This seriously was EXACTLY “my kind” of favorite book. It was totally unique and DIFFERENT, incredibly well written, and loaded with feels, intrigue, and romance. I could see it playing out in my head like a movie. The story was at times painful, but most often HEART-WARMING. The epilogue left me with such a HUGE SMILE on my face. This is definitely going to be one of my Top Favorites of 2016. It’ll be live tomorrow at midnight. Be sure to pre-order a copy!!!!

An “opposites attract” romance from a favorite author!!
— She’s country club and fine-dining, he’s cell-block and sawdust. He’s wanted her since the moment he laid eyes on her but she seems oblivious to his interest… But just as things start to heat up, he’s blindsided by a life altering moment from his past and he needs her professional help to right a wrong and to save more than himself… As these opposites dig in for the fight of their lives, battling together to save a family, the steam created can’t be ignored…
Big Rock by Lauren Blakely — New Release!!
Sexy contemporary romance standalone!
— “I might be a playboy… But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy.
Which makes me one of a kind. The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit… So I ask my best friend to be my fiancée for the next week. She’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock. And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom… But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her…”
An Ounce Of Hope by Sophie Jackson — New Release!!
I love this author’s books! This is the standalone sequel to A Pound Of Flesh!
— “He can’t seem to let go of his past: his drug habit, the end of his relationship with a woman he knows he’ll never get over, and the loss of their unborn son… After successfully completing rehab and learning to explore his deepest fears and dreams through painting, he meets [the heroine]. With her innate optimism, and her love of art, she appears to be the perfect girl. Yet no one knows where she came from, or why she keeps her past so closely guarded. Over time, they gradually allow each other in—but will he ever be able to fully let go of his past? Or will his heart remain closed forever?”
Never Tear Us Apart by Monica Murphy — New Release!!
I’m so intrigued!! This is the first book in a romance duet.
— “Crazy how eight years can disappear in an instant. One look at her, and I’m a fifteen-year-old again—the one who risked everything to save a terrified girl from her twisted kidnapper. She’s grown-up now—beautiful, quiet, composed—and telling her story to the world. A story that involves me in more ways than you can imagine. She used to call me her guardian angel. Sure, I risked my life, but she was worth dying for.
I need to make contact with her. Just to ensure that she’s safe.
Somehow we reconnect. We become friends . . . but I want more. I want to make her mine. And she wants me too. Does she know who I am? Has she figured me out? Not yet. But she will. In the meantime, I need to make sure that whatever hold that animal had on her is gone.
So, yeah, I’m stealing these moments with her. Savoring them. Knowing, dreading, that she’ll soon find out who I really am. And everything will fall apart. All because of that twisted, perverted monster sitting on death row. Her kidnapper. A convicted serial killer.
My father.”

I have to say I love when you add little blurbs in the new release descriptions about which books you think sound good or might read because those are the ones I’ll likely choose if I’m waiting on your next review to post. I’m so busy with my job etc.and it helps so much by not having to spend as much time searching for my next read (and you’re spot on with your recommendations!) Anyway I’m sure this blog is a lot of hard work and I just wanted you to know it is very much appreciated!
Aestas says
I’m so glad to hear it helps! Honestly, it helps me too because by going through the blurbs and making a few selections from the synopses to post about, it allows me to keep highlights of the ones I’m interested in too. Haha, my blog is almost like a public version of my own notes! 😉 Happy reading and thank you for the feedback!!
