If you looking for a romance book with no cliffhanger, then this is the list for you!!
The way I classify a standalone is a book that completely wraps up by the end and does not require any other book to be read first. I update this list regularly so be sure to check back to see if there are any new additions 🙂
Some of the books on this list were originally written as standalones but now have sequels either released or in the works. Regardless, the first books can still be read on their own so I’m keeping them on this list.
And, if you are looking for other lists that might include series books, you can check these out:
Happy Reading everyone ♥
Click the covers to be taken to my reviews.
They are not listed in any particular order.
❤❤❤
I’ll keep adding to this list every time I read a new stand alone that I love so be sure to check back or bookmark this page 🙂
❤
And I’d love to hear from you! If you have favorite standalone that I haven’t read yet and that you would recommend, feel free to comment below with the title and author (or even a whole list if you want) so that other readers can see your recommendations too!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Juewelz – yes, but as I said in the beginning: some of the books on this list were originally written as standalones but now have sequels either released or in the works. Regardless, the first books can still be read on their own so I’m keeping them on this list.

Ok, so this book just got published last week and it’s Alison Bailey’s debut novel. But oh my goodness if this book doens’t make the top ten standalone’s let alone top ten of the year. Her book Present Perfect is so raw, vivid, emotional, and just wonderfully written, you cannot help but laugh and cry along with Amanda and NOah….and cry you will. Lots and lots of tears because that’s how close you will feel from this amazing writing.
Aestas says
Thank you for the rec! I’m going to go check it out 🙂

Can’t wait to hear what your thoughts are on this story!! Happy Reading.
The last 15% makes it all worth it in the end, even with buckets pouring out of your eyes.
Everyone I’ve talked to on this has given it nothing but 5+ star reviews and everyone is so overwhelmed once they read it.

Thank you for compiling your standalone list! There’s nothing worse than reading a great book, only to discover there’s a sequel. I’ve added many of your suggestions, so keep posting!

You MUST add “When It Rains” by Lisa De Jong. Be prepared to bawl your eyes out with big, fat, ugly tears.

Try “Sweet Seduction Sacrifice” by Nicola Claire. Lots and lots of steam, over-the-top-drama, testosterone overload and a man who will do anything for you – loved it!
