This has been an amazing reading year for me and so here’s a summary of my Best Books of 2014. Each of these books is a little different — some are more emotional, some are lighter, some are long, some are short, but all of them are ones I’d recommend to anyone looking for a really great romance read…

Dammit.
I totally was going for a quick, short list of my favorite reads of the year so far. HA!!!! I swear this started out as a Top 10 list… But just like with last year, a Top 10, Top 15, Top 20, Top 50 etc just wasn’t enough. I just kept adding more and more books that I loved from this year and pretty soon I lost count and honestly didn’t want to take any off the list. I loved them all for different reasons — some of them made me feel so strongly that even just thinking back on them brings a lump to my throat, some of them made me laugh (or cry) so much that I could barely see the page through my tears, some were just so refreshingly different and unique that they stood out to me, some were beautifully written, some were off-the-charts HOT, and some were a blend of all of the above.
Bottom line, all of these books rocked my world this year and I feel like they all deserve to be showcased. So I just gave up on the idea of a short list and decided to feature them all. So here they are… my favorite books read since Jan 2013 🙂
Ok. The first thing you need to know is that before I made this list, I literally spent over an hour just agonizing over how on earth I was to choose and list my top favs.
Do I pick a Top 10? Impossible! Only 10?? As if! … okay, so then I tried Top 20. Nope, still not enough. Then I tried to make it ‘match’, Top 12 of 2012.. Top 22 of 2012… still too few… ok, fine, Top 25?? Top 30? Ok, now we’re just getting excessive… *sigh* Do I choose the top books read in 2012, or the top books published in 2012??
Eventually I gave up. I stopped counting. I don’t know how many books are on this list and I never want to count. The only thing I know and the only thing that matters is that each and every one of them are on my favorites list. They are ALL beautiful books that make my heart race, have a beautiful love story and a happy ending. That’s what I spend my time seeking. That is the heart of my reading addiction – the need to find these books, to read them, love them, and finally share them with everyone I know… But, considering I have only been running the blog for less than a year ( I started it in April 2012 – feel like its been so much longer though!), I decided to choose to list my fav books that I read in 2012. Books that left a mark on my heart in one way or another.
So, without further ado, here’s my list of Favorite Books Read in 2012 🙂
